The Baskin chair was designed around the essence of community and gathering, referencing the cultural importance of stars and constellations within Maori culture. Designed to be placed in a 'random' group setting, the chairs can be spun to form pocket groups for conversing. The design references the shape of a star, creating constellation in its group setting.
